ALTERNATIVE SOUND RIDER
Sound System Supplied by BUCK HUMMER AND THE PICK-UPS
When BUCK HUMMER and the PICK-UPS have contracted to supply a sound system for the event, the following provisions will apply in place of the above sound specification:

LOAD IN - Sound system load in will be approximately 3 hours before showtime, i.e. 5:00 PM for an 8:00 PM show.

AC POWER - The sound system will require two standard grounded 15Amp AC outlets, minimum 30Amp circuit, on a different phase from the lights, and on the same ground as each other, preferably on the same outlet box, no more than 15 ft from the stage.

MIX POSITION - Mix position will be run from the stage- please take this into account. The area taken up by the console and associated equipment is approx. 3' x 5' +/- space. The rack mount and console will be visible to the audience.

TAPE - If it is necessary to tape down cables, snake, etc, then the venue will provide gaffer tape or other suitable adhesive tape, and the stagehands will attend to applying and removing the tape.

OTHER ACTS - The price quoted by Buck Hummer and the Pick-Ups for supply of a sound system includes only supplying sound for Buck Hummer and the Pick-Ups. Therefore, if there are other acts appearing at the same show as Buck Hummer and the Pick-Ups, and they expect to make use of the sound system, the following restrictions apply:
  1. Other acts will be wholly responsible for the setting up, proper operation, and removal of any equipment supplied by them, including onstage and in the house.
  2. House mix will be established for Buck Hummer and the Pick-Ups specifications. Deviations in SPL (greater than 98 dB max. are unacceptable unless otherwise stated)There is no problem with other acts plugging their sound equipment through the system to make use of speakers, monitors, etc. although decisions made by Buck Hummer and the Pick-Ups technical staff on the suitability or otherwise of external equipment to be connected to the system are final.
SECURITY - Please ensure at all times that the stage, dressing rooms and mix position are off limits to unauthorized persons. Only the band, their entourage, and venue personnel should ever be allowed in these locations.
